Hey Fam,
Well it sure sounds like everyone is doing a lot better. I guess dad is back to working at least a bit now. That is all good. It was good to hear that he had the chance to give a blessing to someone at the hospital and for once be on the other side of it. How is work going for Elysa. I am excited to hear about the temple trip to Nauvoo. Sounds like work is doing good for Mom too. I like it. I was also glad that you guys now have the means to be able to carry some of those big things like the couches and chairs to the dump. I know that that was always a pain before.

Hey family.
Well I actually don’t feel like there is much to say this week, sadly. Not much is new. But I figured that I would send some pictures to make up for it, since I am finally at a computer that I can. More or less… today we went up to the Netherlands again for p-day. It was mainly to just spend time as a district, but also we went shopping for groceries. I ended up buying a sweatshirt too. it is very European, but I like it… it is all good. It is kind of a funny green color, lol. But now we are back in Liege. We are giving a stop smoking workshop tonight at the church, and it sounds like we are going to have a big turn out, so it sounds like I am going to be using my French public speaking skills if I have any tonight. We got a really nice PowerPoint presentation that goes through the steps. We have been working hard on it, and I think it should be cool. Unfortunately it looks like the internet is not so speedy here, so the number of pictures will be limited.
One of them is a pic with me and president woodland and his wife. Another is a pic of liege in cool lighting and a cool bridge. Another is a picture of me in a cool forest.

Hey Everyone,
Well it has been an interesting week this week. And it has seemed like a super long time. We got our new missionary. His name is Elder Caywood; he is from Sandy; Utah. It will be interesting to see how it goes.
We are really working on restarting our area with new investigators and so we have a lot of just plain finding ahead. That always tends to slow down time quite a bit. I got to see President the other day for the last time. he came to a baptism that we had here on Saturday. It was a very cool Lady named Aurélie. She is super elect; a true kingdom builder; which is what we truly need down here. It was very special; probably the best baptism i have ever been too. That was cool.

Hey, how is everybody?
Sounds like life is slowing down at home. It is good that you have been able to find time to spend with each other too, I wish I could be there.
Liege is still going strong. We are really hoping to start sending this city back on the right path. I guess it was only 20 or 30 years ago and this place was the fastest growing area in Europe. This city alone was going to be its own stake, and this city was going to get its own temple too. They bought land for it and everything, but before all these plans got carried out, Apostasy struck in and devastated the area. There are over 600 inactive members in this city. They also had to close 3 wards/branches in this area too. So it is a bit crazy. We hope to have a lot of success, and really help bring this city out of the darkness, but it hasn’t been going as well as we planned. We met with an inactive member the other day that used to be a bishop, but now fell into apostasy. We stopped by his house, and ended up staying for over 3 hours talking to him and trying to clear up all this crazy stuff he had on his mind.

Hey everyone!
Well I made it to my new city all fine and dandy. Everything is cruising right along. I don’t know what more to really say than that.
My companion is Elder Spackman and he is very cool. I am really enjoying working with him. It is especially a blessing after going through last transfer. I was so very glad to be transferred, I don’t know if I could have survived another 6 weeks with the way things were going. It was a big surprise to everyone that I got transferred out of Lille so fast, I guess Lille is often what the missionaries call a “black hole”. It is great, but it tends to be one of those cities that many missionaries end up going into and not coming out for a very long time. But Liege really is great, I don’t mind it at all. It is fairly big, and there is tons of bridges that we walk over all the time which I really enjoy. And a lot of boats and barges. I think it is pretty cool.
